Beautiful old buildings and church in Winchester with tea house and coffee. The foundation has provided significant support to the community and continues to do so.
Worth a look!
We only walked around the outside but will defo come visit properly and explore the building.Looks very interesting.
Cafe is only open in summer and the church and grounds are £7:50 entry fee (adult Jan24). Looks nice from the outside but difficult to see that you’d spend very long inside the church so we didn’t go in. Other reviews say it’s worth going in so maybe another time
Nice visit! Staff is so kind and helpful.
It was raining and it was in June so we had the place for ourselves. Very nice visit, quite short. The gardens are beautiful, and we loved the churchyard.
There is also a tea room, which we couldn't try for it closed before we finished our visit of the church and hospital. However, an organist was practicing in the church and it was lovely! I would recommend this visit if you come to Winchester, alongside with the cathedral, of course.
Really nice stop, great cafe for coffee and the cakes were superb, popular with cyclists and walkers, plenty of seating both in and out.
Beautiful gardens and church , very peaceful.
